The Cosmic Shambles Network team are back to host another edition of the hugely popular QED Friday night quiz. It’s our third time hosting the night and the theme for this year’s quiz is space. Everything from moon landings to nonsense conspiracy theories and science fiction to space stations will be on the agenda. It doesn’t matter if you have a PhD in astrophysics or half remember seeing an episode of Star Trek once, there’ll be something for everyone. As always expect a multimedia affair with lots of amazing prizes on offer, including some donated by actual astronauts…

Taking place at the QED venue on Friday 12th October, the Space Shambles QED Quiz is part of the free QED fringe, taking place immediately after Skepticamp. Anyone is free to attend, but numbers for the quiz are limited by space, so we’re asking everyone to register up-front to avoid disappointment.

There are spaces for eighteen teams of four, and teams will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis. You can register your team of four people (no more, no fewer!) using this online form.
