David Baddiel is a British comedian, writer and TV presenter. He rose to fame as part of two separate double acts in the 1990s teaming up with Frank Skinner and then Rob Newman. Newman and Baddiel were the first comedians to completely sell out Wembley Arena in 1993. For a time he focussed predominantly on writing, penning a number of novels and children’s books as well as the film The Infidel, and more recently, the play God’s Dice. In 2013 he returned to stand up touring around the UK with new shows. His most recent book, released earlier in 2021 is Jews Don’t Count.
