We managed to get three of the scheduled five Nine Lessons shows done in 2021 before Omicron got its teeth in and we made the executive decision to postpone the final two shows. And so, over Easter weekend in 2022, they were resurrected.
COVID is hardly over and so the lineup was chopping and changing up until the last minute but we still had two nights of our trademark bonkers variety with everything from blue music, to live Feynman diagrams, to free jazz poetry, to horseshoe crabs, to mathematically impossible cogs and a whole lot more! And, yes, our house band The Shambles Trio still played some Christmas songs.
All profits from these shows went towards our chosen charities COVAX and Maytree Respite Centre. We also collected a bunch of much needed food for the Bow Foodbank.
